American Friends of Fundación Cardioinfantil is a non-profit organization – 501(c)3 – dedicated to giving new life to underserved children with congenital heart defects. Every year, we fund 13 health diagnostic outreaches throughout Colombia, led by a comprehensive team of FCI´s medical professionals and more 180 children receive highly complex, life-saving surgery.

American Friends of Fundación Cardioinfantil funds annual health regional outreaches, led by a comprehensive team of FCI surgeons, medical professionals and volunteers. In these missions, our team diagnoses children with cardiovascular conditions and ultimately brings them to Bogotá to receive highly complex, life-saving surgery.
Our mission is to raise awareness of FCI’s “Give a Life” social program and enhance the social impact of its activities.
